Fooled Again quilt
Handmade bedspread created from materials used in past A.P.C. collections.
- Inspired by Brighton's seafront architecture, these quilts from Jessica Ogden's Round 30 celebrate the aesthetic of Victorian tiling.
Far from colourful, the piece draws its strength from a graphic interplay of black and white and the arrangement of geometric shapes. The result of a photographic collage, the quilt is composed of autonomous blocks assembled with deliberate freedom, creating a unique structure made up of visual discordances.
To emphasise the cultural roots of this collection, each piece is named after a song by a famous Mod band. - Hand-assembled in India by specialised artisans.
- Patchwork of fabrics in multiple colours.
- Sewn onto a thin quilted backing.
- Very limited edition.
